Refund policy

We want you to love your website. This page explains exactly how our guarantee and refunds work.
Love it or your money back. If you do not love your website, tell us within 30 days of it going live and we refund your first payment in full. No forms, no argument.
How to claim
- Email hello@thewebsitebuilders.co from the address you ordered with, within 30 days of your site going live.
- We confirm by email within one business day and cancel your plan so nothing more is charged.
- The refund goes back to the card you paid with. Stripe usually shows it within 5 to 10 business days.
Most people ask for a few changes instead of a refund, and we make them at no charge. You are welcome to do that first and still claim the refund inside the 30 days if you are not happy.
After the first 30 days
Your plan is month to month with no lock-in. Cancel at any time and no further payments are taken; your site stays live until the end of the period you have paid for. Payments for months already used are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
Not covered
- Domain registration fees paid to a registrar on your behalf.
- Third-party services you subscribe to separately (for example a booking or ordering platform).
- Delays caused by content or approvals we were waiting on from you do not extend the 30-day window, but if you need more time, ask us and we will usually agree.
Your consumer rights
This guarantee is in addition to any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer laws of your country.
