Formulas: Uber commission = orders x 52 x average order x plan rate. Your site = orders x 52 x (1.7% x order + 30c) + $99 setup + 12 x $99. Customer fees = orders x 52 x (10% of order capped at $4 + delivery fee). Sales tax on Uber's commission is left out because a registered shop claims it back, though it leaves your account first.6 Pick-up orders are the honest caveat: Uber charges 6% on those, so the gain there is about $1.42 per $40 order.

What $99 a month actually is

$99 is Uber's cut of your first 8 delivery orders on Monday.

8 orders x $12 commission on a $40 pizza = $96. The other 190-odd orders that month, you keep. Year one costs $1,287. The same 50 orders a week cost $31,200 on Uber.1

Build-it-free guarantee

Don't like the site before it goes live? You pay nothing beyond the $99 and we hand you the files anyway.

Pays-for-itself guarantee

Use the stickers and inserts for 60 days. Under 12 direct orders? Every monthly fee refunded and we keep building free until it works.

No commission, ever

We get the flat $99 whether you do 20 orders or 2,000. If this did not work for shops we would have no business.

The honest one

We cannot promise your Uber customers switch. We can promise every order that does costs you 2.5% instead of 30%, and we showed you the arithmetic.

Why only 12 a month

Every build is set up and tested by a person on a Stripe call with you, so we take 12 new shops a month. 12 of 12 left for this month. The bonuses above are included for shops that start this month; after that they become paid add-ons. Uber's Lite plan went from 15% to 20% in March 2026.23 Fees only go one way.

$99? That's too good to be true.

Agencies quote $3,000 to $12,000 for a restaurant site plus $100 to $400 a month.19 Ordering platforms run $200 to $500 a month and often still clip the order.2021 We can charge $99 because the build is templated to your menu, hosting is cheap, and we take 0% of your orders.

My customers won't switch. They like the app.

Do I have to leave Uber Eats?

Keep it. Only 11% of app users mainly use it to discover new places; 42% are reordering from shops they already know.18 Keep Uber for strangers, move your regulars. Nothing in Uber's merchant terms stops you charging less on your own site.14 Honest caveat: pick-up orders on Uber are only 6%, so the money is in delivery orders.1

I'm not technical.

You do not need to be. The panel is four tabs on your phone: Orders, Menu, Settings, Help. The only "technical" step is the five-step Stripe wizard above, and we do it with you on a call or over WhatsApp. If you can change a price on your Uber tablet, you can run this.

An order arrives: your phone chimes, one big Accept button.
Price change: tap the price, type the new one, Save.
Sold out or closing early: one switch.
Stuck: the Help tab has our WhatsApp. A human answers.
I'm too busy. What do I actually have to do?

Here is the complete list of what you personally have to do. Everything else is us.

Who does the delivery?

You already do, on the phone orders. Your site works the same way. Three modes, all in Settings, switch them any time.

Pick-up onlyThe simplest start. Uber charges 6% on pick-up, your site about 2.5%.
Your own driverYour fee, your minimum, your delivery area list. The customer's address lands on your phone.
Keep Uber for delivery, go direct on pick-upOr add Uber Direct couriers per job later (quoted around $11 base plus distance).26
What if it breaks on a Friday night?

It is built so an outage costs you an order, not a night.

Pay-later fallback: if card checkout is ever down, the site keeps taking orders as pay at pick-up or cash on delivery.
Every order is emailed to you as well as shown in the panel, so a dead phone battery is not a lost order.
WhatsApp support from the Help tab. Real person.
No lock-in. Month to month. You keep your domain, your menu file and every order record. Uber's own contract needs 7 days' written notice to leave;14 ours needs a message.
How do I get the orders?

Your phone chimes and vibrates, a card shows the order with items, options, the customer's number and address, and one big button moves it from New to Accepted to Ready to Done. Every order is also emailed to you. You can print a receipt from the panel.

Can Uber punish me for having my own site?

Nothing in Uber's merchant terms prohibits your own site or a lower price on it; there is no price parity clause.14 Uber sells the same idea itself: the Webshop, at 25% commission with Uber delivery.1

Am I locked in?

No. Month to month, cancel with a message. You keep your domain, your menu file and every order record. Uber needs 7 days' written notice to leave;14 we need none.

Show all 28 sources

Every figure on this page is from a published source, most of them Uber's own pages, checked 2 September 2026. Worked examples assume a 30% plan, a 15% app markup where shown, a 10% service fee capped at $4, a $4.99 delivery fee, and Stripe's 1.7% + 30c. Delivery on your own site is whatever you already charge, so it is left out of the shop comparison.
